Educational Qualification
General Duty
Matriculation (10th) with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
Technical
12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 50% marks. Alternatively, 10th pass candidates having ITI or Diploma in approved technical trades are also eligible.
Clerk / Store Keeper Technical
12th pass in Arts, Commerce or Science with minimum 60% marks.
Tradesmen

Salary, Allowances & Benefits
Selected Agniveers receive an attractive annual package with incremental growth every year. Besides salary, they are entitled to risk and hardship allowance, dress allowance and travel benefits.
After completing four years of service, approximately ₹10.04 lakh will be provided as the Seva Nidhi package (excluding interest). Furthermore, a life insurance cover of ₹48 lakh is applicable during the tenure.
Marital Condition
Only unmarried candidates are permitted to enroll. Marriage during the engagement period can lead to discharge from service.
