📚 Educational Qualification

• SSC or its equivalent qualification.
• Advanced Diploma of National Fire Service College OR equivalent qualification.
• Equivalent means B.E./B.Tech (Fire Engineering) from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years practical experience in a responsible capacity in Fire Service.
• Must have knowledge of safety procedures, rules and regulations.

Note: Qualification relaxable at the discretion of the Chairman in case of otherwise well qualified candidates.

🎯 Age Limit (As on 01 February 2026)

• Maximum Age: Not over 40 years
• For existing employees of any Major Port: Up to 55 years (as per Regulation 9 of MbPT Employees Regulations, 2010).
• No relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as this is an unreserved post.

💰 Salary & Benefits

• Pay Scale: Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000
• Approx. Total Emoluments: Rs. 94,500/- per month + HRA (if not residing in MbPA quarters)
• Industrial DA Pattern
• Cafeteria Allowance: 35% of Basic Pay
• Annual Increment as per rules
• New Contributory Pension Scheme applicable
• Medical benefits, leave, housing & car advances as per regulations

• Medical Examination at MbPA Hospital
