Educational Qualification & Experience
Essential Qualification
Graduation in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification
Post Graduation in relevant discipline. MBA / PMP / CISA or equivalent certifications will be preferred.
Experience Required
Minimum 25+ years of experience in the IT domain.
Type I – Additional CTO (Applications, Platforms & Digital Transformation)
This role focuses on application ecosystems, citizen-centric digital platforms, and emerging technologies for Government of Maharashtra.
- Leadership in application architecture, APIs & microservices
- Digital transformation & cloud-native modernization
- AI/ML, analytics & automation (strategic level)
- Governance, compliance & vendor management
Type II – Additional CTO (Infrastructure, Cloud, Cyber Security & DR)
This role is responsible for MahaIT’s IT infrastructure backbone, cyber security, DR & BCP.
- State Data Centers, Cloud & Network Architecture
- Cyber Security, SOC, SIEM & CERT-In compliance
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning
- 24×7 operations, SLAs & capacity management
